About The Author
Rizqi Hersyandika is an Early Stage Researcher for the EU H2020 MSCA-ETN MINTS project. Currently, he is a PhD student at Telecommunications and Microwaves (TELEMIC) ESAT, KU Leuven. His research project topic is Ultra-Dense Cell-Free mmWave Deployment, which has objectives of enabling cell-free mmWave network using low-cost hybrid antennas as well as optimizing mmWave beam assignment in order to enhance system performance and to achieve network scalability.
Rizqi obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia in 2010. After graduated, he worked for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Republic of Indonesia as a Spectrum Monitoring Engineer. In 2014, he started his master study in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications and Sensing Systems Track) at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. He obtained his Master’s degree two years later with the thesis project of human blockage characterization in mmWave network. Afterwards, he went back working for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Republic of Indonesia.
He has an interest in wireless technology, mmWave, Internet of Things and spectrum management. His motivation is to contribute on the development of wireless communication technology for academia as well as telecommunication industry.
