EU H2020 MSCA-ETN MINTS kicked it off…virtually!
On the 22nd of June, 2020, EU H2020 MSCA-ETN MINTS team members came together on Zoom from all over the world in order to kick off their promising project. The day started with a detailed introduction on project management by the coordinator, followed by the Early Stage Researchers’ (ESRs’) pitch presentations on their background, as well as on their plans for the project. Four parallel sessions by the four S/T work packages discussed best practice strategies for implementation. The 1st day was capped by a social activity for the ESRs where they split into 4 cosy break-out rooms according to their WP. The assignment led to a pleasant and vibrant social session. This was the first of a series of social/team-building sessions spread over the days of the event.
The enriching Science & Technology as well as Soft skills trainings were given on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (see the specific trainings in the agenda below). Having these trainings online gave the opportunity to many other PhD students to participate.
