On 12 December 2019, the Recruitment Event of the MINTS project was organized in Leuven. From an initial list of around 180 eligible MINTS candidates (application deadline was 8 November 2019), 22 were preselected to be further interviewed by the Recruiting Committee at this Recruitment Event. Eventually, 13 out of the 22 candidates were selected to fill in 13 MINTS ESR positions while a decentralised procedure is now being followed for the remaining two positions. The selected early stage researchers will start their research in the coming months, so that all of them will be operational by the official kick-off meeting in June 2020.
